This work stemmed from inner feelings I had as I walked throughout ‘Britains last wilderness’. As I roamed amongst sweeping mountain sides and fast flowing rivers, around freshwater lochs and through temperate rainforests, a worrying thought kept returning to my mind… in years to come, what untamed wild places will be left for my children to walk through to connect with the natural world?
