SCAFELL PIKE

It is estimated that Scafell Pike was formed more than 450 million years ago. It is part of the Borrowdale Volcanic Group of igneous rock formations in The Lake District, Cumbria. Standing at 978 metres tall, it is England's highest mountain.

BEN NEVIS
